Vista Fire Department
Welcome to the Vista Fire Department web page, serving the citizens of the City of Vista and the Vista Fire Protection District. Here you will find both statistical as well as anecdotal information regarding the department. The City of Vista Fire Department is a full service fire department providing services ranging from fire prevention and suppression, to emergency medical services, to technical rescue and hazardous materials mitigation. Operating from 6 strategically located stations the Vista Fire Department provides the highest quality of service to both residents and visitors, responding to over 8,600 calls last year, making Vista Fire Department one of the busiest departments in North County.
Fire Station Nos. 5 and 6 were completed in April, 2009, ahead of schedule and under budget. This site provides information on the completed project, including construction photos through the life of the project and more information on the projects. Jeff Katz Architecture was the architect for both stations, and Erickson-Hall Construction Co. was the general contractor for both stations as well.
